Chicago teachers go on a strike which says that they want more money. The kids walk with their teachers saying they want teachers to get more money. Parents of school kids honk the horn on the cars at the teachers saying that this is good keep it up.

People and bosses expect you to be able to talk or communicate even across the world because of the technology. Technology has made it easier to communicate which makes jobs easier and creates more jobs.

Thomas Edison

During communications class we watched a Thomas Edison documentary. Thomas Edison was always a curios person. The first experiment he did was to see if he can hatch an egg, because the bird sits on the eggs and they hatch, he figured out the he is no bird. At a young age he started working in a baggage train selling newspapers. In the cart he set up a laboratory for his chemistry experiments and the printing press. He started an accidental fire and lost his hearing. There is a couple incidents when this may have happened. They are when he was fired from his job the conductor popped his hand on his ears, and after effects of scarlet fever. He didn't let this stop or discourage him. At fifteen he saved a three year  old from a train track when a cart was about to hit the kid. J.U. Mackenzie was very grateful and rewarded Edison by teaching him. Edison then worked as a telegraph operator in Port Huron where he also did his scientific experiments. Five years later he started to invent for a full time job. He invented many things like the light bulb, he figured out 9000 ways to not invent the light bulb then finally he made the light bulb. He invented the recording system and all it takes is a little cylinder with beeswax, and a needle. Edison also invented an early motion picture camera, and over the years when he got old he was very happy that his camera got innovated over the years. When Edison died he had 1093 patents.

     We all got hall passes to wear on our necks. If we toy around then we lose privileges to go outside the class room, and without that we just have to do things the hard way. We now look cool and we look official, and more than just a few people can go out at the same time.

     We wrote on the communication that we experienced. 

Example: animal to animal, the birds chirping

Example: non verbal, human shrugging.

Communication Journal does bring me to my blog page. I chose binary code for my background on my blog. That is machine to machine communication, not the picture, but the code itself. Im also seeing human to machine communication, i'm clicking on the mouse, and pressing keys on the keyboard. Im also communicating to the reader, non verbally.
